2003 Desktop 990 - Status: Released (E-file Version will not be released) |
Updated: May 6, 2004 |
We have released the preliminary version of the 2003 Desktop 990 Software. This version allows you to enter your 2003 Form 990, Form 990-EZ, Schedule A, and Schedule B. This version does not contain support for electronically filing with the IRS. The release of the IRS e-filing compatible version of this software has been delayed. It will not be available by the May 17th filing deadline for organizations with a 12/31/03 fiscal year end. Version 1.22 of the Desktop 990 fully supports the 2003 forms, so, even though the e-filing capability has not been incorporated, you can still use this version of the Desktop 990 to prepare your 2003 Form 990/Form 990-EZ, print out your return and mail it to the IRS. Please click here to download version 1.22 of the Desktop 990. |

(October 14, 2004): Due to the large number of computer specific problems that have been reported in the Desktop 990, and our limited Technical Support resourses, we felt that we could better serve the nonpropfit community by migrating the Full 990 functionality to our On-line web-based environment. The 2003 tax year will be the final year for the Desktop 990 application. We will replace it with the Online version of the Form 990 in October 2004. We hope to have the Online version of the Colorado and Pennsylvania State Registration forms available around the first of the year in 2005. |
